About the Band

Judy has been singing since early childhood. Her parents put her on a local talent show at the age of three. She has been singing in choirs all of her life (school and church) . Judy has been playing the guitar since 1974 to the present here at St. Vincent De Paul in Wildwood, Fl. She has played for Catholic churches in Tampa and Lakeland, Fl and also for 2 years at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mesa, AZ. Barbara has sung in choirs for many years. She also sang in a small choir in the Northern Virginia area. She plays and dulcimer and now sings in a church choir, in addition to playing in a dulcimer performance group. She always wanted to play and sing in a group such as this, and now does harmony vocals along with handeling percussion.
Dave is wanted in 7 States and 2 Provinces for cruelty to bass guitar. His earliest asperation at 5 years old - after watching Duane Eddy play ‘Cannonball’ - was to play guitar. This would have to wait, however, until ‘The Beatles” played the Ed Sullivan show, and his mother finally conceded to gift him his first guitar Dave learned and played bass in various rock groups throughout High School and played and paid his way through college. Dave has opened for bands such as: ‘The Classic IV’, ‘Orpheus’, Tommy James and the Shondels’, Vanilla Fudge’, and ‘Crosby, Stills, and Nash’. Now retired, Dave enjoys collecting and playing basses and guitars with fellow musicians both in his native New England and here in The Villages.
Klaus started with piano lessons at an early age. That was great musical training, but he really wanted to play guitar.  After being fired by his piano teacher for lack of dedication and practice, he learned to play guitar. He played rockabilly and country guitar in several bands as a teenager. He played guitar in a jazz band while in the Navy, stationed in Philadelphia. After discharge he played guitar and bass in several rock ‘n roll bands in the Washington, DC area. He always loved bluegrass, so he learned to play banjo and played in bluegrass bands, also in the DC area. Klaus is now back to playing guitar in this band.
Rich has played with a number of bands in The Villages, FL. He started the Comfort Music Players to bring soothing music to the Cancer Center waiting room lobby. This group has played for over 10 years.
